Unity Homes

Touhid Education Society (TES) proudly stands as a pillar of compassion and empowerment, taking bold initiatives to transform lives through education, shelter, and care. Among its remarkable endeavors are two inspiring establishments: the Mother’s Home and the Qudsia Banu Unity Women's Home, dedicated to uplifting girl children and women in need.

Mother’s Home

In 1977, our late founder, Mr. Rahimkhan Omerkhan, sheltered orphaned children in his own home and was their primary caregiver. Due to the growing need, what started as a simple initiative blossomed into a full-fledged, government-recognized orphanage that is now a lifeline for 37 young girls..

Qudsia Banu Unity Women’s Home

Was established in 2019 to encourage young girls, located in very remote areas, to pursue quality education in the city. Currently, 83 young girls are supported and provided for in our home. Sponsorship from our generous donors helps us cover the basic needs of our girls in both homes such as food, clothing, school fees, medical expenses, etc.

Empowering Through Education

All our 120 girls from both homes are enrolled at our Unity Group of Institutions, from Kindergarten to Degree college tailored to their individual needs. We encourage them to not only excel academically but also participate in extracurriculars like sports, debate, science fairs, etc.

Deeniyat/Islamic Education

We offer daily classes in Quranic studies, Hadith, and Islamic Principles led by three dedicated and knowledgeable teachers. The curriculum focuses on fostering a strong moral foundation, understanding religious duties, and instilling values of Compassion, Honesty, and Discipline.

Skill Development - Sui Dhaga

Sui Dhaga and More is a Skill Development Program designed to empower our girls by teaching them valuable Stitching and Craft Skills. They are given hands-on training sessions in sewing, embroidery, and crafting. Our girls stitch their school uniforms and recently in 2024 prepared and sold badges for Indian Independence Day to neighboring cities. Emboldened by the success, our girls are now expanding their skills to new products such as bags, aprons, and bookmarks. This program fosters self-reliance and equips them with practical skills that can lead to future opportunities in entrepreneurship or employment.

Management

Both our Homes are managed by an all-women committee under the umbrella of TES. The committee makes regular visits for inspection and guidance, reinforcing our management’s commitment to providing our girls with a safe, nurturing, and compliant environment. Our story is unique, full of remarkable resilience and unyielding love, and we have been rewriting stories and transforming lives, thanks to the generous support of kind-hearted individuals from India and abroad. We welcome you to be part of this journey. Join us in transforming lives.
